Why Dr. Grab Bar?

Dr Grab Bar has been installing bars since 2005 and was founded by Alan Blum. Mark Welp is the current owner and installer. Mark apprenticed under Allan – learning about the business and the community. In 2021, Mark purchased the company from Allan.
Mark grew up on a farm in Minnesota, where he learned the values of honesty, hard work, and respect. After leaving Minnesota, he was a volunteer in Plantation, Florida, for just shy of 20 years.
Mark is a resident of Lakewood Ranch and an active community member. He is well-known in the local community due to his genuine compassion and care for those in his neighborhood. His care for his friends, family, and clients is evident when you meet him.
Mark’s number one priority is listening to his client’s needs and working with them to find the best possible solution to improve safety in their home.
