Dr. Grab Bar has been installing safety grab bars since 2005 and was founded by Alan Blum. Mark Welp is the current owner and installer. Mark apprenticed under Allan – learning about the business and the community. In 2021, Mark purchased the company from Allan.

Mark grew up on a farm in Minnesota, where he learned the values of honesty, hard work, and respect. After leaving Minnesota, he was a volunteer Firefighter in Plantation, Florida for almost 20 years.

Mark is a resident of Lakewood Ranch and an active community member. He is well-known in the local community due to his genuine compassion and care for those in his neighborhood.
